Wood Photographics has been capturing wedding and family memories for about 19 years, covering the entire Alberta Peace Country, and beyond.  Ted Wood, photographer, started out in college with a hobby in photography, and a lot of financially challenged friends who were getting married.   Thus began a long history of practical, sensible, but fun photography.
We pride ourselves on being non-intrusive.  You won't find our photographers in front of the stage, blocking the view of all your guests while we get that "perfect" shot.  We tend to use long lenses and shoot from the outside-in.  This results, particularly for your ceremony, in a more photo-journalistic result.

  We very much enjoy black and white prints, and feel that the emotion captured in grayscale can be superior to that of colour.
We have lights, backdrops, and a portable studio setup.  We aren't afraid of travel, or taking photos in bizarre, sentimental, silly, or dangerous locations.  Truly, when you book us for your wedding, you are getting our full artistic attention to the details of your wedding day.
